The First Word

Oh well!..after being challenged by my friend Mr Martin to start a blog of my own due to my petulent opinions on his blog....I have finally done it. The 3rd Dimension is really about everything that makes remote sense to me and rubs me up enough to write about it.

The above preamble leads me to the title of this blog post - " The First Word".
Just how important is that first word?....Is it enough to judge this blog?....is it enough to judge the author? or in any situation.....is the first word enough for you to assess character ,common interests, attraction etc.

I value the first word. So much so that i gave the esteemed honour of the topic for the first post to an old "friend" by the name of Divia Padayachee....(remember that name...its gonna be famous oneday). Divia , a journalism student at Rhodes politely turned down my overture...citing a low level of creative juices. Now...the first word at times can lead to absolutely nothing....(like this blog) or it could prove to be a catalyst to something totally awesome....such is the impact of the first word that you could either meet someone you will love forever or you could just screw up royally.

I remember when i met my first girlfriend...it was at extra science tuition....i was hungry..so i stepped out of the lecture room...popped down to the vending machine and returned to my seat with chips, chocolates and coke.....she passed a little note to me asking if she could have some chips...my first thought was " gees woman....im hungry....get lost...i dont even know you".....and as it turned out...i went with that first instinct and promptly replied " NO! but do you wear an under-wire bra? "......that was my first word.....which struck something within her...she was attracted to my "rudeness" or maybe my brash attitude.....but the point is...it did something...we went on to date for about two years before she cheated on me with a friend (Awwwwwwww!).

So moral of the story in this first post is "Becareful who you date...they might cheat on you " lol

Till we meet again.......

  3. You studied Journo at how may campuses and you still have grammatical errors? Shame on you. The first word might be important to you, but for me, the first sentence is valuable... it gives you insight into the mind of the maker (of said sentence [har har]).

Question: Why did she cheat on you with a friend? Were you self absorbed an uncaring? Was she just cheap? Two years is a long time, do you think she wanted more and you didn't offer it? I wrote a blog a while ago about not dating someone because of the fear of what might happen, and how that was just stupid logic designed to keep you from scoring...

My advice, it's a good start to the blogging world, welcome, and just go out with people man, see what's out there, cry later.
